Here at netbookplanet we have been waiting and waiting and waiting for HP to release the 6 cell battery and VGA adapter for the compaq mini 700 and HP mini 1000.

Despite the suggestion from HP that the VGA adapter is in the pipeline somewhere it seems that they have decided to abandon UK owners.

With the introduction of the update compaq mini 110 which incorporates a VGA out we seem destined to be forever without.

Fear not however.  At long last a solution is available. This marvellous if slightly industrial solution connects to your compaq mini 700/702ea/hp mini 1000 expansion port and allows connection to an external monitor.

Thankfully HP have been more forthcoming with the extended battery and without having to resort to buying no OEM items from the far east you can get the original HP 6 Cell battery for a reasonable £77 here
